Dr. Ramon van Loon (VUmc, Amsterdam)
Doctor van Loon received his medical degree from the VU University School of Medicine. He completed his internship, residency, and non-invasive imaging fellowship at the VU University Medical Center. Dr van Loon is non-invasive imaging cardiologist and specialized in multi-modality imaging, at the department of Cardiology and Radiology in the VU University Medical Center. He did research on the prognostic value of myocardial viability after acute myocardial infarction. Nowadays, he participates in many imaging related research projects. He is an academic teacher at the VU University School of Medicine and responsible for the training of residents cardiology and fellow cardiologists at the department of Cardiology.

Dr. Lilian Meijboom (VUmc, Amsterdam)
Lilian Meijboom received her medical degree from the University of Amsterdam. She completed her radiology training at the Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis in Amsterdam and her cardiovascular fellowship at the University Medical Center Utrecht. She completed her thesis on “Cardiovascular complication in the Marfan syndrome”. Nowadays, she is Cardiothoracic radiologist in the Amsterdam University Medical Center. Her major research interest is imaging in pulmonary hypertension, especially chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension.
